Wet n Wild Los Angeles has released its holiday collection and it included this super cute Megaglo Highlighting Palette.
The palette is a quad of highlighters in a folding cardboard compact style packaging. The packaging is super cute with Los Angeles style palm trees and a baby pink colour theme.
Inside the palette there are 4 Megaglo highlighters. By now you guys know how much I love Wet n Wild products and in particular the highlighters as they have produced some amazing ones.
From left top to right bottom the shades are as follows…
- White Lily
- Botanic Dream
- Blossom Glow
- Golden Flower Crown
White Lily is a white based pigment with a lilac shimmer running through it once it is applied. Its a truly beautiful cool toned highlighter that I can see me reaching for when i need an inner corner colour for a blue or purple eye look as well as using this as a regular highlighter.
Botanic Dream is a soft rose shimmer that leaves an amazing dewy glowing looking finish to the skin. Perfect for those no makeup, makeup looks that leave you looking dewy, fresh and effortlessly stunning.
Blossom Glow is a subtle apricot based shade which gives you that everyday glow to the cheeks with almost a soft satin looking shimmer which I can see me reaching for regularly to use under the arch of my brows as well as an everyday highlighter.
Golden Flower Crown is a golden based shimmer for those days you want to look like a bronzed goddess. I can see myself using this as an eyeshadow as well as a more dramatic golden toned highlighter for those nights out where you want to glow like a true queen!
My thoughts on this palette are that Wet n Wild yet again have knocked it out of the park with this palette. There’s something for everyone and the shades are so versatile that they can be used in so many ways.
Wet n wild are a cruelty free and for the most part vegan friendly brand that are super affordable and so what’s not to love?
The palette retails at $24.99 NZD and is available to purchase at Farmers NZ.
