Wet n Wild Gothographic Collection

I waited patiently for this collection to arrive in New Zealand after drooling over it on social media since I first saw it. I was lucky enough to be gifted the entire boxed collection by Farmers NZ in order to test it out. I waited for the post to arrive and then ripped this bad boy open and tested it straight away. Below are my swatches that I took immediately after receiving whilst building my flat lay for this blog post… see, I told you I was excited!

If you have read any of my other Wet n Wild Collections, such as the Unicorn Glow or the Midnight Mermaid collection, you will know by now that I personally love Wet n Wild as a brand and as such this collection had a lot to live up to.

If you’re unfamiliar with Wet n Wild their products are cruelty free and most of them are vegan friendly too! Not only this but they’re amazing quality and budget friendly too! What’s not to love right?!

The liquid lipsticks are as smooth as ever and they feel almost whipped in consistency and slightly less liquid than usual. They glow and shimmer in the light with an iridescent sheen to them. The peach shade is totally wearable and could be used as a lip topper too as it is sheer in finish. The blue and black lipsticks are definitely for the more daring when it comes to lip colours but with the whipped consistency of these beauties they could easily be used as a cream eyeshadow or an eyeliner too.

The liquid eyeshadows are phenomenal! The shimmer on these provides a rainbow of reflective colours and they’re totally buildable allowing for either a more subtle finish or a dramatic makeup look. They’re are super smooth and easy to apply with the wand for precision application. Again, these could be patted onto the lips as a lip topper or used as an eyeliner too. They’re the most versatile of the liquid eyeshadow colours I have received from Wet n Wild so far.

I have super hooded eyes and so rarely use liquid eyeliners at all. That being said I love the colours of these ones and again they shimmer beautifully. I could see some amazing creative looks being created with these beauties. They’re highly pigmented when applying too so no need to be going over your eyeliner multiple times.

The highlighters are, as usual, amazing. I have never been disappointed with a Wet n Wild highlighter. I think they are some of the best highlighters on the market and, considering the price point, I think they’re pretty unbeatable. The collection contains a pink and a white compact highlighter along with a golden glowing loose highlighter. Seriously this collection is shimmer central!

If you’re looking for a collection to add some shimmer and sparkle to your makeup bag, then you can grab individual pieces or the whole collection at Farmers NZ if you’re in New Zealand or from the Wet n Wild website for other locations.

(full disclosure… I was gifted this collection to enjoy and was in no way paid to give my opinion. My thoughts and opinions are my own and I do not represent the brand itself or the company who provided the collection to me)
