Rupt apparel first impressions.

I was lucky enough to be sent some of the Rupt apparel range and so I thought what better way to give my feedback than a first impressions and review for you guys.

First of all the ordering process was super easy. I simply chose what products I wanted to test and once I had confirmed this the order was sent super-fast and tracked so I knew where my parcel was at all times. The hardest part of this whole process was picking just two items as there’s a ton of cool ‘metric’ prints which are available on a range of garments.

I opted for a grey cropped tee with a unicorn print and a pink beanie. I mean how could I not right? I also chose to go up a dress size in my crop as I prefer the oversized look of a cropped tee. Once it arrived I was super excited to test them out and so I decided to wear the tee for my fusion dance class to really put it to the test.

I must say that it did not disappoint at all. The style is awesome, think 80’s flash dance meets contemporary design and you get the vibe, it totally stood up to the test.

The fabric is super soft and light with a decent amount of stretch to it and it feels well made. The print itself is super bold and bright and is a great contrast to the steel grey colour that I chose.

Now on to the beanie… I am in love with this beanie and I think its super great value for money too! It’s so soft, not itchy at all and feels good quality! I really have fallen in love with this product and it’s safe to say that I will probably be back for more in the other colours. A bonus it that not only does it fit me but it fits my little girl as well and so they really can be used for anyone. The detail in this beanie has really been thought about, from the quality embroidery on the front to the cute little label and the pompom on top which is so full and fluffy! What’s not to love?

Would I wear again? Of course! It’s not the perfect weather for cropped tees right now in NZ but I have a feeling it will get a lot of wear in spring and summer. The beanie is perfect for the cold nights here at the moment and so I will be getting a lot of use out of this until Auckland warms up a little as we head into the spring and summer months.

Would I purchase more? Defiantly! I’d love to try out the children’s range and I’m going to need more colours in those beanies too.

Full disclosure – I was sent these items free of charge in exchange for my opinion and feedback. I was not in any way given instructions to write this post nor was I paid for my views. All opinions are my own.
